Suggested Curriculum
Two courses per semester are recommended. However, these are our suggestions, you are welcome to orchestrate a curriculum that works for you as long as you are aware of the required prerequisites for the intermediate classes (which can be found on our class listings). Semester 1:

First six weeks - select a beginning acting class. To determine which class is best for you, read about each class and the instructor who teaches it. You have several options:
- Beginning Acting for Film & Stage, led by Amber DuPuy, Mj Vandivier or Paula Russell
- Creativity of Acting for Film & Stage, led by Babs George
- Acting for Film, led by Gabriel Folse or Paula Russell
- Paula Russell’s Acting Exploration
- Introduction to Acting, led by Mj Vandivier
- Monologues for Adults, led by Patricia Pearcy (when offered)
- Second six weeks:
- Improvisation 101, led by Shana Merlin, OR
- The Speaking Voice 101, led by M.J. Vandivier.
Semester 2:
- First six weeks - continue your acting class taught by the teacher with whom you started:
- Beginning Acting II, led by Amber DuPuy
- Creativity of Acting for Film & Stage, led by Babs George (repeat)
- Acting for Film (repeat) or Intermediate Acting for Film (with Instructor’s approval), led by Gabriel Folse
- Paula Russell’s Acting Exploration (repeat)
- Second six weeks:
- Find the Power of Your Natural Speaking Voice, led by M.J. Vandivier, OR
- Improvisation 101, led by Shana Merlin
Semester 3:
- First six weeks - acting class continued:
- The Actor's Craft: Ongoing Technique Class led by Amber DuPuy
- Creativity Ongoing class, led by Babs George
- Intermediate Acting for Film, led by Gabriel Folse
- Film Audition, led by Gabriel Folse (can be taken by any intermediate student)
- Paula Russell’s Six-Week Workshop "You Can Never Get It Neat!" led by Paula Russell (ongoing)
- Second six weeks:
- Find the Power of Your Natural Speaking Voice, led by M.J. Vandivier, OR
- Shakespeare's Verse, led by Babs George or Matt Radford, (can be taken by any adv. beginning or intermediate student), OR
- Monologues For Adults, (Instructor TBA)
Semester 4:
- First six weeks - acting class:
- The Actor’s Craft: Ongoing Technique Class led by Amber DuPuy
- Creativity Ongoing class, led by Babs George
- Shakespeare’s Verse, led by Babs George or Matt Radford (can be taken by any intermediate student)
- Intermediate Acting for Film, led by Gabriel Folse
- Film Audition, led by Gabriel Folse (can be taken by any intermediate student)
- Paula Russell’s Six-Week Workshop “You Can Never Get It Neat!” led by Paula Russell (ongoing)
- Second six weeks:
- Accents and Dialects, led by M.J. Vandivier OR
- Shakespeare’s Verse, led by Babs George or Matt Radford, (can be taken by any adv. beginning or intermediate student), OR
- Monologues For Adults, (Instructor TBA)
